The world’s humorous and playful sculptural scenarios, achieved by artist Michael Beitz

October 22, 2016

By seeing this first oddball object called ‘not now’, a wooden table which disperses sitters by an undulating arch and designed by Michael Beeitz, we might think it is a very crazy design because we will lose contact with the partner when we sit on it but these strange objects are sculpted with the combination of furniture design and meticulous craftsmanship with conceptual sentiments.
If we look at other objects thoroughly, we will accept and admire his creativity represented by talented production.
“I was concerned with the central ideas of emotional tension, distance, and the inability to communicate when making not now.  I have always been interested in psychosomatic relationships and I see this work as an extension of the connection between emotional and physical behaviors.” This is one of the artist's quotes cited on designboom.
