Are these absurd objects built for giant? No, these are elongated sculptural objects of Dufala Brothers!
At first sight, these objects seem ridiculous. In fact, they were designed with knack, by
Dufala Brothers, as surreal and modern objects which have been elongated and stretched into figurative versions of shoes, household ware and tools.
This is a kind of art deemed as creative works imitate the original objects so well that it is hard to separate the two in one’s mind, such as a Chuck Taylor that is made so long and it bends up and down on top of oneself, and a lock made for a key which is four times the standard size, read an article in
thisiscolosal.
These giant objects such as Step broom, Long Chuck, lock and key, and oversized hammer are exaggeratedly created for humor by the Philadelphia duo, graduated from the
Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts.
