These are quirky animal inspired illustrations made due to imagination of Australian-born artist, Nick Sheehy
The artist and illustrator is currently living in London; after studying bronze sculpture in the wilds of Tasmania, he abandoned art course in order to re-discover his love of drawing while living in London because he was interested in the city’s low brow art, illustration, street art and graffiti.
Since he loves exploring the dreamlike, sometimes semi-autobiographical scenes and oddball characters which reflect from his childhood imagination, he tried to include them in his achievements.
As you can see through photographs blew, he was considered as a draftsman who used his achievements to represent his imagination. For example, human skeleton-like art which is riding or driving fish, human skeleton supported by fish, frog, snake with piece of strings, etc.
It was shown on
his site that he was honored with certain exhibitions such as: Arch Enemy Arts (Philadelphia), 2016, Character Portrait Exhibition, Monterrey (Mexico) / Berlin, 2014, Post Digital Monsters, La Gaite (Paris), 2011, etc.
He also linked himself to many publications (websites) and clients that you can see on
his site.
