Digital paintings inspired by organic natural elements, history, mythology and melodies

Encouraged by a father who loves machinery and design, the mostly self-taught artist Anna Dittmann strengthened her artistic ability by practicing digital art through web tutorials and sketchbooks and tips provided by her father. She also took a few traditional art classes in high school, then a painting teacher urged her to pursuit colleges.
As a child, she wanted to recreate the world as she saw it and her love of nature, biology, and portraiture are recurring themes you can see throughout her work.
After being a professional artist, she paints with her own inspiration which comes from organic natural elements, mythology, history, movement and texture, lyrics and melodies, expressions, and color variations.
“In general, I roughly sketch out a face, then look for reference. I tend to search for photos or take pictures of friends. My portraits are normally a composite of a few different images. For anatomy and surrounding elements, I'll compile various images on one document that I'll refer to while painting”, she said on her website.
