Jeremy Hush: “I like art that tells a story, a strange story, both illustrative and surreal”

The artist began to draw everything when he did not like to sit in a chair for most of the time. At first, he never expected himself to be an artist; he just drew everything around him and what he thought only.
Jeremy Hush adores art describing a story, and a strange story and that’s why he featured bizarre animals with human in one of his series paintings.
This artist, who prefers figurative art, creates artwork which focused on the idea of imitating nature versus our responsibilities towards the preservation of the natural environment.
“All throughout my days doing punk rock art I’ve always been depicting wildlife. Usually angry wildlife. I like to picture a world where animals fight back against the human expansion. I show birds with medals as if they were winning their own battles of fending for their own world, or animals with a criminal intent of sabotaging human technology (like raccoons or small rodents whose purpose is to undo all our little conveniences with their tools)”, he said in the interview conducted by juxtapoz.
