The Australian artist Tyrone Wright, known as Rone earned his admirable profile and reputation via his stylized images of women’s faces which he understood better than most that beauty can be fleeting.
In each piece of his graffiti or street art, his work becomes an unmistakable part of the Melburnian cityscape since those images were suffused the landscape at an almost unthinkable manner.
Nowadays, Rone’s artwork can be seen in galleries and his work has been acquisitioned by the National Gallery of Australia, commissioned by the National Gallery of Victoria to work with Jean Paul Gaultier and shown by galleries including Stolen Space and in London, White Walls in San Francisco, Urban Nation in Berlin, and Opera Gallery in New York.
“If you think about it too much, it becomes a problem. I paint because want to bring the streets alive. I paint because I love it, and it adds character to any inanimate object. Whether it is a wall or a footpath. It brings the streets to life", he said (via Wikipedia).
