After being successful and awarded, especially in the Sovereign Art Prize in 2012, Jee Young Lee was recognized as one of the most prominent and younger Korean artistic world. 

She spends weeks or sometimes months to create the fabric of a universe born from her mind within the confines of her 3 x 6 m studio. Each of her portrait was transformed from her heart, memory or dream into tangible paintings to adorn her tiny studio.
