Being one of the famous artists in New Zealand, Cinzah Merkens (he was once mentioned here) painted with love towards his environment by introducing a strong sense of color, movement and balance indicated in each of his artwork. 

Painting from and for his environment, he translated and expressed his ideas on environmental issues with a strong sense of color, movement and balance. Through his wonderful artwork, Cinzah Merkens also specifically indicated the exploration of themes such as the interrelationship between human and nature, duality, mythology and storytelling.
