Coming from a fine art field, Ben Slow painted male and female portraits on the walls in the purpose of decoration in urban and social places.
The London-based artist earned his famous reputation through his intrigued black and white murals which inspired by vibrancy and fascinating, and eclectic mix of sub-cultures. He is also constantly fascinated and inspired by the colorful characters he captured visually during his travels.
His artwork aims to focus on celebrating local personalities, many unknown outside their communities but having a profound impact within them.
“Just as comfortable in the studio as he is out on the streets, experimentation is key. Ben uses an array of different materials to create his unique style; deconstructing, destructing and blurring boundaries to strike a fine balance between abstract and figurative.”, he wrote on his website.
