A life-long bookseller and avid reader, Allison Glasgow, created these book sculptures, which look like human figures, as gifts for her boss while marking the ten-year anniversary of her bookstore. 

Those books used for her artwork had been loved and read, and are chosen because of their special worth. She decided to produce these book sculptures because she found no book she could give her boss that she had not already discerned.
