Min Kim’s artistic work looks simple but it magically expresses visual language

Born in a family whose father was a painter, Min Kim was so interested in drawing and painting since her childhood which led her to study art at Jung Ang Fine Art University
After her study completion, she became a real professional artist whose collages tend to evoke many feelings at the same time. Her pieces of artwork indicate visual language to viewers as they were seamlessly combined an almost naïve poetic narrative with impeccable skill and adult morals.
“Kim's manga-like figures seem to exist in a world where flora and fauna blend together with the earth and the sky, constantly evolving into each other forms. She combines the emotive strengths of Asian comics with the heritage of the psychedelic surrealism of the seventies”, the torchgallery said.
